If I buy a converter will I be able to use Micro SDHC cards in my PSP? - sdhc converter

I looked in converters that you are at your Micro SD card and is the size of a Memory Stick Pro Duo. Because I have a 8GB Micro SDHC card and therefore I think, and waste loads of cash on a Pro Duo 8GB if I spend maybe 5 € in a converter. I wonder if working on a PSP, for game saves, as I have doubts about the Micro SD MagicGate compatible.
