How long is frozen chicken good for? - frozen chicken

I picked up frozen chicken, Thursday and put it in the fridge, it's good for cooking? The chicken did not smell bad or something.

If it's good when thawed in the refrigerator. I want to cook, no later than tomorrow.

Odor is a good indicator. Make sure your nose works by this method. You are probably now at the border. You can take additional precautions, but my recommendation is not approved by the fear of losing their license. I am not a scientist, but I think I know a lot of rubbish ...

When chicken is involved, the better. If not, I can not take a step with her.

Remove the packing material. Enjoy your skin! A large number of bacteria increases to thaw a bird from the outside. The skin is also very tasty sprouts.

If you go to the time at this stage, the chicken can be cooked to kill germs more (no aseptic food unless your cool and well done). Then fill with water. Unfortunately, this step also accounts for a lot of flavor, so do not wait.

Do not use a recipe where the chicken is a lot of heat over a long period of time. This will kill many germs. This probably means bake til it's cooked, or a stew, a looooong's time.

If you're cooking fora child or very old people I do not want the opportunities, but my methods have worked for me. Between the two extremes of age, the body can take care of small problems and minor.

The refrigerator is not cold enough to prevent bacterial growth. Chicken is good for 6 days in the refrigerator for shrimp, but only for a day.
